If you’ve owned any Logitech device then you’ll agree that not only are they reliable but very user-friendly given the fact that you customize the controls to suit your need. The same goes for its new sensational racing wheels namely the G290 and G29 which are compatible with PlayStation, PC, and Xbox!

Why Logitech’s new Driving Force racing wheels are better than the ones before?

  • The upgraded leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum paddles give a luxurious feel and look.
  • Heavy duty pedals made of brushed aluminum and stainless steel which handle rough use better than its predecessors.
  • Additional buttons on the steering wheel which means you don’t need a controller.
  • Dual gear Force Feedback motors

Logitech G290 and Logitech G29

Compatible with PC and Xbox One, the Logitech G290 looks like a dream and works just as well. Definitely one of the SMOOTHEST wheels along with a great force feedback is what makes it so popular. Be sure that you’ll be feeling every jerk, bump and whatever else your virtual car goes through.

And don’t feel left out if you own a PlayStation because Logitech has you covered. The G29 variant is compatible with both PS3 and PS4 as well as PC. It’s time to get racing!

Grab-worthy features:

Realistic Force Feedback

The force feedback and sensitivity on the racing wheels is so amazing that you may sometimes forget you’re sitting in your room and not in an actual car racing for the first position. It’s designed such that it feels absolutely realistic and natural just like how it would be if you were driving a real car.

Driving through bumps and curbs makes the wheel shake and vibrate and when you lose control over of your steering wheel it rotates just like a normal one. The pedals are sturdy and responsive enough to let you accelerate and change gears with ease. Though there was some additional resistance on the brake pedal, you get used to it after a few times.

Game control buttons on your steering wheel

All your favorite console buttons are incorporated into the steering wheel for maximum control so you aren’t missing anything.

And while its predecessor, the G27 had buttons on the wheel that were hard to reach, the buttons on the G920 and G29 are well positioned to make things more comfortable. After all, it’s hard to concentrate on tricky controls when you’re on a racetrack.

Smooth gearshifts and pedal units

Racing can get pretty rough and intense when you’re in the heat of the moment. Luckily both the shifter and pedals are made of stainless steel and therefore strong, sturdy and long-lasting. The pedals may seem a little stiff to some, but after a few games, you won’t even realize this. Besides, you can always adjust your in-game settings to counteract it.

Recommended games to enjoy on the Driving Force :

Though almost all racing games and simulators will work well, there are a few that are sure to leave you mind-blown, wanting for more. Check them out-

  • Forza Motorsport
  • Dirt Rally
  • Project CARS
  • American Truck Simulator
  • Assetto Corsa
  • F1 2017

All in all,

the setup of both the G920 and G29 are wonderful and highly recommended if you’re a hardcore racing rig lover! Pair it with a good quality headset and you’ll easily slip into the virtual world leaving reality far behind you.
